in the Fibromyalgia Network's seasonal "journal". I just got my "Summer 2012" one. I'm not sure why it is delayed to this extent but, it has some pretty "intense" information
By "intense" I mean it can be hard to read for many of us. It is very "clinical" in some of the articles, talking about the medical and scientific explanations for Fibro and why we have it, what are some of the "better" treatments and also info on some of the newer treatments.
First let me say, if you'd like a "free" copy of this I'd be willing to FOR ONE TIME ONLY, photo this magazine and send it to you in the mail. Then you can "apply" to receive future copies.
Next, there's an article in here about LDN (aka Low Dose Naltrexone) being used in "rather high" doses with some pretty decent success in some patients.
This doctor believes that it is worth trying. But you really should "read" the entire article and discuss it with your doctor.
As for me, I've not tried this ONE treatment. Everything else it mentions, I've tried. But it has been suggested to me. I just "blew it off" because I figured that it wouldn't work. That's not a very good or positive reaction to something new, is it?
Have any of you tried LDN and with how much success?
I'd love to hear from you. If you comment and would like a copy, I'd be happy to send it OR you can go on www.fmnetnews.com and subscribe for yourself.
Until later....
Blessings..............
Mo M.
