....my husband walks 7 - 8 miles every day, with few exceptions. He used to be a runner, but his knees got bad and he was told walking was his NEW form of exercise.
Well, I took a huge chance this morning and decide to to walk with him. He cut it to 6 miles for me.

I am worn to the point of, well, not really knowing how I feel yet.
But I "fear" I pushed beyond a limit. We will see. I actually would like to do 5 miles a day at a "slower" pace.
His pace is a bit "quick" for me. I also choose to stretch at the end, which is something most men cannot be bothered with, if you haven't noticed. Women are more "nurturing" to their poor muscles.
So, I will update you as to whether I've done too much a bit later today.
HOWEVER, before I sign off, I want to STRESS SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT!
If you are "not in shape" and/or are not participating in ANY sort of exercise program at this point in time, PLEASE DO NOT suddenly start to exercise with someone who is in MUCH better shape than you.
That is not only "NOT SMART", it is unsafe and bordering on deadly. See your doctor first and start out slowly.
I have been "exercising" since April and worked my way up to 3 miles of walking on some days....when I feel I can, sometimes only 1 or 2 miles. Please be careful.
