Fibro friends, are any of you taking this medication....?

Percocet (aka oxycodone with acetaminophen),  Roxicet, or any of these types of meds? 

Don't be surprised if they cause anxiety and depression. 

Quite a while ago, I had been taking this medication for breakthrough pain. I noticed that the next day or two following the pill, I would feel extra-depressed and anxious. I had mood swings, etc.

I used to take them all day!!! 

SO, if you're thinking that YOU may be having this problem, talk to your doctor. 

If you avoid them for a few days (if you can), maybe even a week, you may notice a huge change in your mood. 

Check with your doctor about what could be described in place of this med. Some people DO NOT find these side effects when they are on Vicodin. 

My point is not to RECOMMEND any of these meds. If you can avoid them, DO, however we should NOT be slaves to our pain.
