Good morning (or day, evening(?), depending on where you are in the world) my dear Fibro friends,
Do you have a dream? Do you have an idea? Do you have a wish? Do you hope for something?
Is it to get your house in order? Or do you hope for an addition or new home? Or are you trying to get out of debt? Are you trying to improve your marriage? Are you trying to improve your finances in general? Are you trying to improve your relationships? Are you going to school and hoping to compete for the job of your dreams when you get out? Are you thinking that your dream, hope, wish, or even need will never come to pass? Do you have hope?
More importantly, do you have faith in Jesus and God?
SO, what have you done about this dream, idea, wish or need? Have you tried to make everything happen yourself, only to find yourself stressed out and frustrated?
Well, I have some advice. Stop TRYING so hard and start PRAYING.
Did you know that you can ASK God for things? If it's biblical and it is his will for your life, he will give to you, in his time*. Quite often we were raised to think that you don't go to God to "ask for things for yourself"....it seems selfish.....wrong somehow...right?
WRONG!?
What IF your child or a your grandchild, niece, nephew, etc. came to you and asked you for something, or for some help with a dream, wish, or idea? What would you feel inclined to do? HELP them, right? You love them and want to do anything in your power to make good things happen for them?
SO, how much more does God want to make things happen for you?
Go to God, ask him for what it is that you seek! Ask him for whatever you feel you need! Then let go, and stop being frustrated trying to make happen those things that only God can control.
The moment you become frustrated, stressed and feel that you're going in circles around the same ol' mountain, give up and give the situation to God.
He wants to help, and you are ALLOWED to ask! It is not selfish. It is faith!
He answered one for me......just last night......
until later......
Blessings.................... ASK for them! : )
