...and hopefully before you try to exercise.....
"Every hour that you watch TV, can cut down on your life span" -per Dr. Oz (of Oprah fame).
This means, I want you to do something for me. I want you to be around for a long long time to be my friend.
Do ONE of the following for me -
1 - If the weather is warm or even cool, go outside. If you can walk, do it. If you cannot use your assistance and walk around the perimeter of where you live. If it is sunny, put on sunscreen. : )
2 - If you cannot get out, and the weather is...awful or TOO cold, sit by a warm fire, or by a window if there is sun. If you have a "sunlight" lamp, use that. Take your bible with you and read Matthew CH 6 vs 25-35. I may be off a verse or two but the title of that section of Matthew says...."Do not worry".
3 - If you're in bed, locate the channel that is TBN or CBN. Either one of these should be the Christian station on your TV.
4 - If you don't have a TV, the bible can also be turned to the verse in #2 mentioned above.
Do not worry about tomorrow. Enjoy today. Get some sun, just a little.
Please avoid sitting in front of the TV all day. There's more to this article and I'm certain you can Google it, for the details. My guess is that you will learn that "inactivity leads to depression, obesity, heart disease, etc."
Hey folks, ANY activity is better than none. Let's cut down on TV today. Just by an hour. Maybe more, if you're so inclined.
I care about you and hope that you will continue to read and eventually comment on my blog. But until then, I will love you no matter who you are, and what you are, and what you've done.
