Fibro and Monday mornings.....

For many of you dear Fibro friends, Monday is the beginning of a new work week. Are you dreading Monday morning before it arrives?

Dear reader, you have a lot of challenges ahead of you with Fibro and working with the illness presents one more (actually many more) challenges than the average full-time employee.

The first thing I found helpful when I was still working and had Fibro, was an early morning chat with God.

"Ha!", you say, imagining all of the things that you have to do just to get out of the door and now to add one more.

But isn't this the most important?

Isn't your relationship with God something that sustains you through the toughest of times?

If it's possible, IF at all possible, try to get up 5 minutes earlier than you normally would.

If you can spend 5 minutes, talking to God and asking him to help you through your day, helping you with any difficulties that might arise and thanking him for being good to you, in spite of everything, you might just find that your day will go better, than if you'd slept those extra 5 minutes.

It got me through some very rough times. There was no special "prayer" or wording. Simply talk to him like you would a friend.....isn't he?

Let me know how it goes .......

Blessings.....

Mo M.
