In Part 1 of my "Medication for Fibro" series, I mentioned the Duragesic Patch as being something I've tried.
I just received an email regarding some "lawsuits" that are being considered against the makers of this patch.
Some people received patches that "leaked" and provided too much medication too fast into the body resulting in serious injury and even death.
Before you consider taking ANY medication, please do your research. I have been harmed by another medication years ago, which I believe gave me Fibro.
If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them.
I will continue my series as soon as possible. It's been a bit hectic around my house lately and my ability to "focus" (as you can understand) hasn't been good.
I miss working and it's "forced" focus because I felt like I had "direction. Being home is NOT all it's cracked up to be.
Oh well, in the mean time, my dear Fibro friends, blessing to you and please review meds before taking them and ASK questions of your doctor regarding side effects, etc.
