"Thank you, thank you, thank you...."

Good morning? The reason for the "?" is that I'm not sure where in the world you are and when you will be reading this. So, I am sorry to say "Good morning" if, in fact, I should be saying "Good afternoon" or "Good evening" and I am also sorry if I am not honoring your native tongue. I speak a bit of French and Russian (from a grandma that spoke it). Unfortunately, I have to work from one frame of reference.

So, humor me...and speaking of "humor"...how is your mood today? Was getting up difficult? It usually is.

Do you have something you do first thing in the morning to make yourself feel better? What is it?

For me it is this - there is an inspirational speak, Joyce Meyers, and since I've discovered her, I get up early every morning to watch her program. She is amazingly down to earth, amazingly inspirational and something that inspires me to get out of bed and "get moving", as best I can, each morning.

I challenge you to do something else - first thing in the morning. Although I know it isn't easy...I want you to try it. Ever since I did, I've noticed my life, which believe me is not a fairy tale, has turned for the better. When I first get out of bed, I stretch gently and I say continuously...."Thank you, thank you, thank you, etc...".

You can thank God' if you believe in him. You can thank a "higher power", the universe, it doesn't matter. What's happening is your setting a tone of gratitude for your day.

When I first read about this idea, I thought it was nonsense, until I tried it. Each day became better.

I have a friend with advanced, secondary progressive multiple sclerosis. She does this.

She can't get out of bed alone.

Can you? Well, then why not say..... "Thank you...thank you....thank you...."

You have a reason....the reasons are all around you if you'll just take time to notice.

Smile
